Hackers used a FIFA game to get millions of dollars

A group of hackers used a special tool to get millions of dollars through a FIFA game. Anyone who has played one of the last FIFA games knows that Electronic Arts has implemented for some time the Ultimate Team mode. In it players can create their own teams, with players from reality to compete against others in online matches. The more they play, they get FIFA coins, coins that can invest in their teams.

Today, if you search on Google - fifa coins - you will see numerous sites through which these coins are sold. A group of hackers, however, has taken things further. They used a tool that was sending signals to the EA servers about the matches. Basically, they received FIFA coins for matches that had never been played, and the coins could be sold later.

This business began in 2013 and would have ended in September 2015 when the FBI began to confiscate huge amounts of money. Over the years, hackers would have earned millions of dollars using this method. In fact, US authorities claim that the exact amount they gained is situated between 15 and 18 million dollars.

The last FIFA game is FIFA 17. Electronic Arts makes available to customers in three versions: Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe. As expected, FIFA Ultimate Team benefits are the one that really make a difference.

With the Deluxe editions you will receive weekly one player from the team of the week for three matches (for twenty weeks), and 20 for Jumbo Gold Prize Packs (one each week). The Super Deluxe edition duplicates the benefits (two players in the team of the week and 40 Jumbo Gold Prize Pack). As you can see these packs are super amazing and will give you a great gaming experience.

Hackers may have done this to increase their winnings, but in the end we all, fans of FIFA games, are enjoying the benefits of that.
